RON Fritts - Portfolio of Works

These are my assemblage works. They evolve around an inspired work from the past in most cases and develop in the process with many varied elements in the composition. To me they are an extension and a personal statement of Art both past and present.  I like to think of them as a development of the work accomplished by the old masters.

 I am working   in my new studio here in AZ. When working in clay, the artist is afforded the luxury of being able to change his mind or make corrections. Because the clay is not a permanent medium, I must make a mold and cast the piece in limited editions in either bronze or resin. Let me know what you think . Three  have been cast and are available in editions of 25. I will be producing them in resin and possibly in bronze if the demand occurs. In the meantime enjoy. All of this collection  is work accomplished in New York and PA up until arriving in Arizona and produced at RF STUDIOS for national distribution.  The clothing was a glorious part of my past and I incorporated it into my collections in the galleries in NY. You will see a different focus today in both the Assemblage and Landscape categories.  It  is envigorating to reflect on the past. ENJOY.
