DESIGN CONSULTATION AND SERVICES
PHILOSOPHY
Everyone needs to consciously express themselves within their personal surroundings. Most often this requires a little help. That is where I fit into the picture. My concept and design service is based on many years in the arts including architecture, decorating, fine art, design and visual merchandising. Merchandising is very applicable to establishing the home or business environment. We adventure forth including past belongings, and newly discovered treasures. A home or business is a reflection of those who inhabit that space and it is a combination of external or extrinsic physical conditions that affect and influence the growth and development of individuals. Most importantly an environment must offer refuge from the outside world and give comfort, inspiration and support. This can be done discreetly, or with bravado. It all depends on the individual. By the way, any existing space can be converted to meet these demands. Sometimes it only takes a little paint!
My job is to “open doors”. My personal belief is that ‘the only answer is a creative answer’. I will help you think outside of the box in order to accomplish this. Once we have developed and agreed to the concepts about the spaces in your home, I give you the option to continue with my service and work out plans to accomplish this goal. The question of visualization then becomes reality and you are free to go ahead with the concepts. In short I preempt the often unnecessary decorator, or even an architect.
Every layman needs help in visualizing. That is why my service is divided into two categories. The first is consultation: getting to know each other and familiarizing ourselves with the given environment. The second is the actual laying out of the agreed upon concepts for space and decoration.
More than a designer, I am an artist with an intimate appreciation of space and the intricate subtle hold it places on us each and every day of our lives. A house must be a home and a business must be productive. That can only take place when the environment and its inhabitants are one.
I anticipate each opportunity as a challenge to make a personal statement for the client.

You may choose a preliminary consultation as described below to discuss ideas for the environment. The client then has the option to continue with a formal visual presentation of plans based on that consultation, or revisions thereof.
SERVICES AVAILABLE
CONSULTATION:
· Environmental concept suggestions presented verbally on appointment on location for the homeowner.
o This incorporates decorating ideas, spatial changes, architectural changes and other factors which will enhance the existing environment. This can be for the entire house, or individual spaces.
§ Terms :
· Hourly rate UPON REQUEST: minimum one hour
· Payment due at consultation.
DESIGN PRESENTATION
· Presentation of design concepts (renderings, sketches, plans, etc.) following consultation. Deposit of $150.00
§ Terms: The hourly rate of $125 is applicable commensurate with the total number of concepts executed and presented at the discretion of Ron Fritts.
ASSISTANCE WITH DECORATING
§ FURNISHINGS: CONSULTATION AND SELECTION THEREOF
o Billed on hourly basis of $150.00
o Miscellaneous purchases (Serendipities)
25% commission above items of $500.00
Purchases under $500.00: negotiable to include travel time etc.
§ FAUX FINISHING - PAINTING
Quote per room (area) plus materials:
Payment: 1/2 down on quote for labor to begin. Final payment of 1/2 payable upon completion of work. All payments are due on presentation of billing. Materials are separate and are to be paid on presentation of billing.
The consulting servicesa are available in Tucson and surrounding areas only. Anything outside which requires extensive travel will be considered. Send your enquiries.
